Thank you for visiting the English version of RailnewsIL - the first Israeli railway news website.

RailnewsIL provides news, data, pictures and background information about all that concerns the railways in Israel. The information on the site is currently divided into the following sections:

• The Stations section contains information and pictures about most of the 36 passenger stations currently operated by Israel Railways. (some information is available in English, otherwise the Hebrew version is displayed)
• The Rolling Stock section provides data and pictures about the modern passenger rolling stock used by Israeli Railways.
• The Follow Up section describes the different infrastructure projects carried out by Israel Railways throughout the country. (currently only available in Hebrew)
• The Articles section contains essays about railways-related subjects. (currently only available in Hebrew)
• The Links section contains more references concerning railway-related subjects in Israel.

For those not familiar with the railways in Israel, a short introduction to railways in Israel is available.
